Joan Negrescolor, pseudonym for Joan Fernàndez Vicente (Barcelona, 1978), is an illustrator who trained at Escola Massana, as well as doing courses at Albarracín and EINA. Since 2008 he has worked in the areas of advertising, press and signage. He has always participated in socially-focused cultural initiatives and for some years has focused on children’s literature and picture books, for which he has won numerous awards: Junceda (2015, 2016, 2018, 2020), Golden Pinwheel (2017), Bologna Ragazzi Award (2016).
