Having recently been proclaimed the winner of The Great American Jazz Piano Competition 2009 in Jacksonville, USA, one of the most prestigious awards in the field, Ignasi Terraza is one of the most respected jazz musicians currently active in Spain, and an artist who is beginning to enjoy growing international recognition. Further proof is the recent re-issue in vinyl of his album In a sentimental groove, released on the Japanese market by the Disk Union label. Not only that, but Jaç magazine declared Bangkok Live at The Living Room best album of 2011, and Ignasi has continued to perform the show in Colombia, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Washington, Belgium, Paris and London. He recently released his first solo piano effort, the album Sol-IT.
