Institut Ramon Llull and the Han Nefkens Foundation are launching an open call for writers of Catalan literature interested in the Writers Art Omi-Ledig House program. This year, the program will host one Catalan writer in the spring and another in the fall.
Located in Omi, some two hours away from New York City, Ledig House has collaborated with Institut Ramon Llull since 2010.
The program was founded in 1992 and has hosted over 100 authors from more than 50 countries with the goal of boosting creative and cultural exchange among international residents. A maximum of 10 authors attend each edition, participating in individual and group activities and meeting literary professionals from around the world.
