Fina Birulés Bertrán

Fina Birulés (Girona, 1956) is a philosopher. She taught Contemporary Philosophy at the University of Barcelona between 1979 and 2020. She is a researcher in the Philosophy and Gender-ADHUC Seminar which she helped to create in 1990. She is the author of articles and essays on subjectivity, politics and memory, feminist theory issues, and women’s philosophy production, focusing on the thinking of Hannah Arendt. She has translated works of contemporary philosophy and has jointly published collective books on Simone Weil, Hannah Arendt, and Judith Butler.
