Mar García Puig (Barcelona, 1977) has a degree in English Language and Literature and a master’s in Linguistics. An editor by profession, she has contributed articles to various national publications and participated in several collective works, namely LGTBI (Sembra Llibres, 2020), Neooldfashioneds. On the Dangers of Nostalgia (Península, 2022) and More Than Visible (Egales, 2022). Between 2016 and 2023, she was a member of the Spanish Parliament and served as spokesperson for its Culture Committee. Her first solo work, La història dels vertebrats (PRH, 2023), was met with success and translated into Spanish, French, English, and Brazilian Portuguese.
