Everyone knows the Balearic Islands for their marvelous beaches and amazing food, but there's way more to them than sun and sand!
From jazz to electronica, discover some of the Balearics' finest music this August at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Attendees will be able to enjoy the music from:
- Joana Gomila (8-11 Aug), a singer moving between jazz, folk and experimental, exploring Mallorca's traditional music.
- Anna Ferrer (12-14 Aug), a soothing combination of folk & electronic music.
- Blai Vidal Trio (15-17 Aug), a project uniting cultures through jazz and world music.
- Júlia Colom & Toni Vaquer (18-20 Aug), a mix of folk, jazz and experimental music influenced by local traditional songs.
- Ermano Panta & Banda Zeitun (21-23 Aug), a typically Mediterranian choice, combining sicilian music, spicy jazz and flamenco.
- Jansky (24-26 Aug), a duo that combines organic beats with samples, spoken-word and jazz improvisation to create a unique sound.
