Martí Domínguez and Sebastià Portell Selected for Art Omi Writers Residency

From a pool of more than twenty candidates, writers Martí Domínguez and Sebastià Portell were selected for the two-month Art Omi residency in upstate New York. While Portell will reside at Art Omi in the fall of 2018, Domínguez will go in the spring. The public call for Catalan authors at Art Omi (Ledig House) has been ongoing since 2010, and the quality and quantity of applications made this selection-process highly rigorous.

LA OLA celebrates its fourth edition, including three Catalan films

LA OLA | LA will take place from May 31 to June 3 at the Egyptian Theatre, the Montalban Rooftop Cinema Club and The Echo Park Film Center, celebrating four consecutive years in the city of Los Angeles. The film showcase will continue with LA OLA | CDMX from June 8 to June 10 at the Cineteca Nacional de Mexico. The last stop of the event will be LA OLA | NYC from June 15 to June 18 at the Anthology Film Archives in New York.
