Intensive Language Courses for Exchange Students
Support for the delivery of intensive language courses aimed at students taking part in exchange programmes with Catalan-speaking universities
AIM
The Institut offers beginner-level Catalan language courses at universities abroad so that students can gain enough knowledge of the Catalan language to be able to cope in basic communication situations in their academic and everyday lives during their stays at Catalan-speaking universities. The course also includes cultural content that will help them to get a better insight into the reality and functioning of Catalan society.
RECIPIENTS
Students from outside of Catalan-speaking areas who wish to continue or expand their studies at a Catalan-speaking university through an exchange programme.
LENGTH
Each course lasts for 30 hours and is offered intensively. These courses are available in face-to-face or blended-learning formats, with the latter being offered via the Parla.cat virtual learning environment.
SCHEDULE
These courses are offered throughout the year in accordance with the university exchange schedule.
