Mendetz at Glastonbury Festival

Music.  Glastonbury, 24/06/2015

Mendetz has been confirmed to perform at Glastonbury Festival, the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world. The self-described 'artisans of robotics' are just back from their second China tour and will bring the best of their electronic sound experimentation to the prestigious stage in June.

MENDETZ

'Mendetz is a synthpop band formed by Stefano Maccarrone, Jan Martí, Oriol Francisco and Robert Gibiaqui. As lovers of electronic sound experimentation their songs mix frenetic drums, rhythmic guitars and hard bass with synthesizers and Casio sounds. After the release of their first album in 2006, Mendetz spent two years touring, willing to share with their audience their totally unique music approach, gambling on the power of the human touch to handle electronic sounds. In 2010, their second opus 'Souvenir' was released, followed the year after by the LP 'Silly Symphonies'. Alternating electrifying rock and luminous pop, these last records give evidence of the band’s musical progression without overriding their electronic basics beats.'

Mendetz are recording their fourth record, due to be released in Autumn 2015.
