The Outside the Box festival, held from 7 to 9 November in Bakersfield, will screen Imparables [Unstoppables]. The documentary tells the story of Piratas Team –a group of cyclists who have physical disabilities–, which has Juanjo Méndez as the main role. Méndez –who lost an arm and a leg after a car accident– is one of the best world paralympic cyclists.
The Black Train Films and Televisió de Catalunya production will also be present at Baku International FICTS Sport Film from 17 to 22 November. Unstoppables was awarded as best Catalonia’s production at BCN Sports Film Festival and it also took part in Berlin Independent Film Festival and George Lindsey Film Festival in Alabama (USA).
Likewise, 10.000KM film by Carlos Marqués-Marcet will be present at European Film Awards on 13 December in Riga.
