Exhibition at the fair: Sharing a Future

The work of 42 illustrators, most of them under 40, will be shown in the central space of the exhibition centre. The selection includes artists from Catalonia, Valencia and the Balearic Islands, all of them with at least one published work. The exhibition has been designed by Clara Solà-Morales as a large bookshop which will also be a space for relaxation at the heart of the fair. In accordance with Paula Jarrin’s proposal, there are 42 hammocks, each one dedicated to an illustrator, distributed over three areas: young readers, fiction and picture books. These elongated slings invite visitors to sit and get absorbed in reading the books offered by the curatorial proposal, which can also be found under the hammocks.

The exhibition will show the work of Marta Altés, Armand, Albert Arrayás, Albert Asensio, Màriam Ben-Arab, Aina Bestard, Pep Boatella, Rocio Bonilla, Mariona Cabassa, Roser Calafell, Mercè Canals, Zuzanna Celej, Agustín Comotto, Bernat Cormand, Luís Demano, Víctor Escandell, Àfrica Fanlo, Lluís Farré, Liliana Fortuny, Mercè Galí, Alba Garcia Puig, Pere Ginard, Maria Girón, Francesc Grimalt, Christian Inaraja, Òscar Julve, Anna Llenas, Mercè López, Cristina Losantos, Rebeca Luciani, Oriol Malet, Pep Montserrat, Roger Olmos, Sergi Portela, Gustavo Roldán, Xavier Salomó, Gabriel Salvadó, Bàrbara Sansó, Júlia Sardà, Sebastià Serra, Jordi Sunyer i Jordi Vila Delclós.
