Exhibiting Cinema Collage, by filmmaker Anna Mitjà

Anna Mitjà (Girona, 1990) started her career in filmmaking by taking part in projects directed by film director Isaki Lacuesta, such as El moviment perpetu (2013), a documentary about the history of dance in Catalonia, or the documentary short film Dismantle for Constructing (2012) about ballet pedagogy. 




Anna Mitjà studied Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and later complemented her studies at the Freie Universität and the Universität der Künste in Berlin (Germany). She did her postgraduate studies in Contemporary Art at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (online). She specializes in dance filmmaking and has worked with dance companies such as Impàs, GelabertAzzopardi and Ponten Pie.

Mitjà will use her residence in Chambre Blanche to work on her opera prima feature fiction film, as well as on a future individual exhibition.
