The Institut Ramon Llull’s internship programme provides students at overseas universities the opportunity to undertake a professional internship with some of the most prestigious companies and organisations in Catalonia.




WHICH AREAS OF WORK DO THE INTERNSHIPS COVER?

• Translation
• Writing and editing of texts
• Community manager
• Use of social networks
• Education
• Cultural & tourism management

WHAT DO OUR INTERNSHIPS PROVIDE?

• Valuable, international work experience in the European labour market
• Full immersion into Catalonia, promoting vast improvement in Catalan language abilities and at the same time exposure to Catalan culture
• Professional training which will prepare you to perform professional tasks in the future
• Allows you to combine study and work

WHO CAN APPLY?

We are looking for students who have studied Catalan during their time at university. This should
provide them with a base of knowledge that will facilitate their entry into a Catalonian working environment

ARE THE INTERNSHIPS PAID?

Those undertaking an internship through our programme will be paid depending on the company with which the intern is working. It is also possible to receive an Erasmus+ grant during your stay in Catalonia.

WHEN?

Students may partake in the programme either during their Year Abroad or their final year of study at university. Internships available vary in length, from 3 months to 12 months. The preferred length of internship is 4 months.

WHEN CAN I APPLY?

During the entire year, with a minimum of 6 months in advance.
