Evening Concerts at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival

The 2018 Smithsonian Folklife Festival will take place Wednesday, June 27 through Sunday, July 1 and July 4 through 8. Daytime performances, demonstrations, and other activities take place between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. On June 27, the Festival will close early at 4 p.m. Evening concerts begin most nights at 6:30 p.m.

Dance on the Mall

A showcase of Armenian folk dance, followed by Catalan dance music from Cobla Catalana dels Sons Essencials, Joan Garriga, and Carles Belda i Rumberos

Once the daily sessions wrap up at 6 p.m., the Festival continues with music from Armenia, Catalonia, D.C., and beyond on the Ralph Rinzler Stage at 6:30. Purchase food at our concessions or bring your own, and enjoy a picnic on the National Mall. All concerts are free and open to the public.
