You don’t have to wait until September to see some exciting films at the London Spanish Film Festival, get a foretaste of what is to come with this year’s 15th edition at the LSFF Spring Weekend!
The Spring Weekend will be held at London’s Regent Street Cinema and Ciné Lumière during the weekend of the 12th to the 14th of April. Some of the films that will be screened include:
Ana de día, directed by Andrea Jaurrieta.
Regent Street Cinema, Fri 12th, 6.15pm.
The debut film of ESCAC graduate Andrea Jaurrieta, Ana de día explores identity and the limits of freedom by following the life of Ana, a young woman that all of a sudden sees someone identical to her take place in all aspects of her life.

Formentera Lady, directed by Pau Durà.
Regent Street Cinema, Sun 14th, 4pm.
Valencian director Pau Durà presents a film about Samuel, an ageing man living in the peaceful island of Formentera, sees his life change suddenly when her daughter visits him with the intention of leaving her son with him while she goes to France for a new job.

Regent Street Cinema, Sun 14th, 6pm (followed by a Q&A with the director).
This Catalan film captures the vain longing for better and happier past times by following a group of friends from university decide to fly to Berlin to visit the member of the group that lives abroad, only to discover they all had something to hide…
