Applications now open for grants for the publication abroad of illustrated works of literature for children and young people

Institut Ramon Llull's grants for the publication abroad of illustrated works of literature for children and young people are now accepting applications. The deadline is 15 October 2018, inclusive.




Purpose

To finance costs incurred by illustrators of works of children’s and youth literature, which fulfill the conditions specified in the guidelines.

Comics, graphic novels and similar works are excluded, as are works published in Catalan, Spanish and Aranese.

 

Recipients

These grants are available to self-employed individuals and legal entities, whether public, private, Spanish or foreign, that are planning to publish or co-publish illustrated works of literature for children and young people, provided that the illustrator in question is domiciled in Catalonia.

 

Grant-supported Expenditures

The only expense that may be considered as grant-supported expenditure is the illustrator's remuneration, subject to a maximum of €1,500 per application.

 

Application deadline is 15 October 2018, inclusive.
