Iolanda Batallé, new Director of Institut Ramon Llull

On Wednesday, September 26, the Institute Ramon Llull’s Governing Board named writer and publisher Iolanda Batallé the new director of the Institute. Batallé takes the place of Manuel Forcano, who has occupied the position for the past two-and-a-half years.

Benet Casablancas & the London Sinfonietta, conducted by German conductor Felix Krieger, release "The Art of Ensemble", a CD that gives insight into Casablancas’ recent musical writings by exploring six ensemble works written between 2010 and 2014. Cinemaattic’s Catalan Film Festival returns to Scotland bigger than ever with ten days celebrating Catalan culture. The festival runs from 2-5 November in Glasgow and 13-18 November in Edinburgh.
