Palma will host the 32nd International Conference for Catalan Teachers organised by the IRL

The University of the Balearic Islands will host, from 17 to 20 July, the International Conference for Catalan Teachers, which is organized yearly by the Institut Ramon Llull. This year will be the 32nd edition. The Conference is held in collaboration with the University of the Balearic Islands and the Department of Participation, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Balearic Islands.

Institut Ramon Llull has now open is open call for grant that cover Catalan musicians' travel arrangements and expenses for performances or tours abroad. The grant covers any performance from 1st August to 31th December 2018. The application deadline is 4 July 2018 inclusive.

Jordi Savall & HESPÈRION XXI: Homage to Syria concerts in Dublin and Birmingham

Jordi Savall, together with HESPÈRION XXI will be in concert on Thursday, 28 June in the National Concert Hall in Dublin at 8pm, and on Friday, 29 June in Birmingham's Town Hall at 7.30pm. Homage to Syria ‘was conceived as an act of solidarity to help raise awareness of this dramatic conflict and the terrible war of repression suffered by the Syrian people’- Jordi Savall.
