CATALAN PERFORMING ARTS
Catalan Performing Arts is an online catalogue of performing arts companies from Catalonia, selected by commissions of experts. Its purpose is to enable professionals to discover Catalan shows with international potential. This tool – which will be periodically renewed and updated – presents a wide range of shows in different genres: theatre, dance, circus, street art, theatre for all audiences, puppets, objects, new technologies and new languages.
More than two hundred artists and companies fill the Catalan Performing Arts website with creative talent. Many of them, moreover, have performed at major international events, such as the Internationale Kulturbörse Freiburg, the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival, the Stockholms Kulturfestival, the Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá, the Berliner Festspiele, Les Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis, Subcase (Stockholm), Tanzmesse (Düsseldorf)...
