Palau Baró de Quadras
Headquarters of Institut Ramon Llull
The Palau Baró de Quadras is a small Modernista palace, built between 1904 and 1906 by architect Puig i Cadafalch. It has been designated a National Historical Monument of Artistic Interest and currently houses the main offices of the Institut Ramon Llull. The building has a floor surface area of 2.000 m2.





The Palau
Josep Puig i Cadafalch (1867-1956) was, with Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner, the leading architect of Catalan Modernisme. He built the Palau del Baró de Quadras between 1904 and 1906, at one of the most fruitful moments of his career.
Visits
The Palau opens to the public every Wednesday between 11 and 13h with specialized tours in three languages (Catalan, Spanish and English ) . You can also arrange visits for groups of at least 10 people, Monday through Friday, with previous booking.
Rent Conditions
The Institut Ramon Llull is offering two salons on the elegant first floor on a daily rental basis—apt for meetings, presentations, events, etc.—for use by companies, organizations or private individuals.



The Institut Ramon Llull is a consortium that comprises the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia), Balearic Islands Government and the Barcelona City Council, and its mission is the promotion of Catalan language and culture abroad.
