		Enric Casasses Enric Casasses (Barcelona , 1951) is a poet and rhapsodist. His attitude could be related to the influence of the beat generation and its followers, such as Dylan, and within the Catalan context, to authors as varied as Ausiàs March, Verdaguer and Maragall, to Foix, Ferrater and Brossa, without forgetting European Dadaism. This may explain the singularity of his work, in which the strictest everyday-ness and the unusual go hand in hand. Among the awards that he has received, the 1992 Serra d'Or Critics' Award for La cosa aquella , the 1996 Ausiàs March Award for D 'equivocar-se aix , the 1996 Carles Riba Award for Calç , and the City of Palma - Joan Alcover Award for Plaça Raspall stand out . He has translated Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Gérard de Nerval, and William Blake, among others. His work has been translated to Spanish, Italian, and German. Bibliography selected La bragueta encallada. He studied Philology at the University of Barcelona and he got a degree in Art History. He was a lector at the University of London , and, for two school years, a professor at the School of Architecture of Barcelona . He writes cultural journalism, collaborating on the Catalan notebook for the newspaper El País and with the magazine Descobrir Catalunya , where he illustrates his own texts. He also collaborates on a weekly basis with a radio program. His first books of poems are gathered together in La llibertat i el terror. Poesia 1970-1980 (Edicions 62, 1981). He later published Enigma (1985), En quarantena (1990), which won the City of Barcelona award, the Lletra d'Or and the Critics' awards, followed by Usdefruit (1995), Lírica lleugera (2000) and L 'art de la fugida (2002). Formes de l'ombra. Poesia 1966-2002 (2002) is a collection of all of his works of poetry published so far. He has also written and put on works for the theatre: La vida perdurable (1992), L 'hora dels adéus (1995) and El dia dels morts. Un oratori per a Josep Pla (1997). He has also published prose: Girona. Matèria i memòria (1989), is a sentimental portrait of the city of his birth. Fòrmules magistrals (1997) is a group of texts about the cultural values of gastronomy. Sense escut (1998) is a collection of articles and talks about cultural and linguistic subjects, and L 'ànima dels poetes (2002) brings together texts about poetry and about some poets. As a translator of poetry, he is the author of an extensive two-volume anthology : Poesia italiana . De Francesco d'Assisi a Giacomo Leopardi (1985) and Poesia italiana contemporània (1990). He also translated Digue'm la veritat sobre l'amor , by W. H. Auden (1997), and has just published his complete version of the Canti de Giacomo Leopardi (2004). Madrid: Visor, 1993 Joan Margarit Joan Margarit Consarnau was born in 1938 in Sanaüja (Segarra), close to the border of Aragon , in the midst of the Spanish Civil War. He spent his childhood between that town, Figueres, Girona, and Barcelona . He studied architecture in Barcelona and in 1961, he settled permanently in this city. Since 1968 he has been a professor of the Calculation of Structures at the Escola Superior d'Arquitectura of Barcelona. In 1975 he introduced himself as a poet in Spanish with Crónica, published by Barral Editores. The change from Spanish to Catalan as his literary language, the most important event in Margarit's life as a poet, took place in 1978, and is largely due to his close friendship with the poet Miquel Martí i Pol. Beginning in 1987, he wrote the most important part of his work. Since 1975 he has lived in Sant Just Desvern, close to Barcelona, where he shares an architecture studio with Carles Buxadé. His most emblematic works are the fruit of this long collaboration: the Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia, the Áraba Pavilion, in Vitoria, covered by a dome of one hundred metres of light, the Olympic Stadium and Ring for the 1992 Olympic Games (in collaboration with Correa-Milà), the campus of the Autonomous University of Barcelona or the calculations and the executive projects for the building of the structure of the Temple of the Sagrada Família according to Gaudí's project.
