MUCHACHITO BOMBO INFIERNO

flamenc i rumba  //  rumba, rock

Muchachito has been on stage all his life. He has also released three albums since 2005: Vamos que nos vamos, Visto lo visto and Idas y vueltas. An independent, self-managed artist, Muchachito has developed a highly personal vision of rumba.

In 2013, he goes on the road in the stupendous company of his friends the painter Santos de Veracruz and the wickedly talented guitarist Diego Pozo, alias “el Ratón”, a former member of Los Delinqüentes and his partner in G5. This trio of aces performed, all on their feet on stage, without a drum, but with one of Muchachito’s own inventions, the “tabanco bomb”, a drum that enables you to dance as you play. The frenetic axe-playing of these two old friends, Ratón and Muchachito, lead us to believe that this 2013 tour will be a live tribute to “street guitar”, the essence of our rock sound, as well as featuring tracks from Muchachito’s three albums, his favourite versions and trial runs for new compositions. All decorated by Santos de Veracruz’s paintings, which infuse the music and the moment with even greater colour.

And Muchachito’s war cry? “Let’s play rumba-rock tonight!”
