Having left Ja T’ho Diré, the Balearic band that formed part of the Catalan rock phenomenon, Cris Juanico began a solo career, releasing six albums that each focused on very different themes, influenced by a range of musical styles, though always marked by his Mediterranean pop style. On his latest album, Dues pedres (2011), he teams up with Joan Solà (Umpah-pah) to create a new sound for his songs, both old and new, whilst never abandoning those Mediterranean references, that Mediterranean air which has always flavoured his music.
