Sílvia Pérez Cruz has a warm, delicate, precious voice, full of light, which combines jazz improv, flamenco power and rhythm, mellow fado sounds and the immediacy of tavern song. Her versatility, rewarded by the Altaveu prize in 2009, is reflected in the varied projects she has engaged in, encompassing the worlds of music, theatre and dance, and the musicians she has worked with: Javier Colina, Toti Soler, Joan Díaz, Duquende, Chicuelo, Raül Fernández “Refree” and Eliseo Parra, to name but a few. At present, she is on tour presenting a series of projects: 11 de novembre (her first solo album with her own compositions and arrangement, coproduced with Refree); Llama (in which she is accompanied by Ravid Goldschmidt and on the hang, a resonating instrument); and En la imaginación, in which she reworks classics from the Cuban music tradition, accompanied by the Javier Colina Trio.
