One of the first Catalan musicians to adopt fusion without hesitation and with complete success, over a career spanning 46 years Toti Soler has built up a precious body of work (30 albums) in which modern and tradition go hand-in-hand. His music is instilled with classical resonances that remind us of Bach, jazz spirit and Mediterranean roots (from Catalan popular music to oriental and Indo-European sounds), touched by flamenco duende and Andalusian aromas. Toti, who has so richly deserved all the top musical prizes awarded in Catalonia, has worked with such outstanding musicians as Leo Ferrer and Taj Mahal.
