Since 2003, this band have played more than six hundred shows, in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Denmark, Sweden, Hungary, Italy, Finland, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, France and Austria, as well as all over Spain. In the meantime, La Kinky Beat have also released six discs, including one that won best urban music album at the UFI 2011 prizes. Quite an impressive track record from a Barcelona band whose main strength lies in their powerful live sound, featuring a blend of rock, drum’n’punk, dub and reggae that fuses into their characteristic free style. La Kinky Beat continue to forge ahead, with each step forward reinforcing their declaration of artistic principles and professional consistency.
