Coetus is a daring project for an Iberian percussion band whose mission is to showcase the vast range of instruments, many of them little-known today, that have been used throughout history to accompany songs, romances, processions, festivities and dances around the Peninsula. The group works with the sounds all these instruments make to create their own, new language, taking their inspiration from traditional rhythms and vocal dialogues. Performing these sounds on stage are fifteen musicians, led by the maestro Eliseo Parra.
