LAS MIGAS

flamenc i rumba  //  flamenc

Jordi Cané

Four women: Alba, Marta, Alicia & Rosario. Four cities from north to south: Barcelona, Seville, Cordoba and Lleida. Four different visions of music and passion: flamenco. Las Migas begin a new stage. New show, a new repertoire and eager to look forward.

Two Andalusian guitars: Marta Robles, the veteran of the group, and Alicia Grillo, incorporating newer and younger. Two Catalan: Alba Carmona's voice and violin Roser Loscos.

They form this unusual quartet of female flamenco and Mediterranean music. Although they come from different worlds, matching the passionate search for beauty. Ongoing research in each of the notes that make or interpret. An explosion of pure sound, unique and rebels: this is the sound universe of Las Migas.

Since its inception, the Barcelona-based quartet has filled large theaters and participated in major music festivals in the world. His new stage offers a more rhythmic, more luminous and Latin touches. His show, brand new, hides many surprises: first, Dawn presents, for the first time to sing and dance choreography, which gives all her sensuality and self-confidence. Growing in intensity, while retaining the style exquisite care of sound and heart that has always characterized the music of Las Migas.
