Formed in Barcelona in 2002, Jaleo Real is one of the most active and best-known rumba fusion bands in the city, with a sound that takes a fresh look at the suburban classics. Indeed, the style of this band fuses reggae, hip hop, bossa nova, Latin rhythms and electronic sounds in a mixture that they call “rumba de combate”, combat rumba. The words to their songs are hymns to the joy of living and the pleasures of life.
