At the tender age of nine years, Diego Cortés, born into a gypsy family with deep flamenco roots, made his debut at a well-known Barcelona tablao theatre. At seventeen, having made a full study of all the flamenco styles or palos, he embarked on a successful US tour, from which he returned full of new ideas. From that time on, he began to write his own music, influenced by jazz, funk and rock. Cortés has played at all the leading rock festivals in Spain, including Viña Rock and Espárrago, as well as performing throughout Latin America and Europe. In 2013 he unveils a new show: De Pasiones!
