Founded in 2001 as the result of a commission to compose the signature music for a television series, The Pinker Tones were quick to grasp the potential of this new project and the energy they gave off during the recording sessions. And so began the dizzying career of Míster Furia and Professor Manso as The Pinker Tones, recording their first album, releasing it on an English label and marketing it internationally, touring Spain and Europe, producing other groups and composing soundtracks. Their music, a fusion of pop, electronica, lounge and Latin, is heard in TV series, video games, adverts and films. Their second album was released in forty countries and took them on a forty-plus-gig tour of the United States. In 2012, they opened the Sónar festival with New Order and released their new album, Life in Stereo, which took them back to the USA to serve up more of their signature kaleidoscopic sound.
