Miqui Puig has been on the scene for more than twenty years now. Since he first became known as the leader of Los Sencillos in the late-eighties, he has never left front stage. A super-gifted musician and showman, Miqui released six albums with Los Sencillos and now has three solo recordings to his name – Casualidades, Miope and Impar – building up a catalogue of songs that now form part of our collective memory, our musical heritage. His latest project is entitled Canciones que hacen BUM!, coproduced with Festival SOS Murcia, Taller de Músics de Barcelona and Buenritmo. Miqui is currently on tour with this show, accompanied by twenty-one musicians as he performs classics from the annals of Spanish pop music.
