This project offers the possibility of establishing a virtual academic relationship to students enrolled in the UB Language Exchange Exchange and who are interested in practicing German language. Thus, the exchange students can improve their oral skills in German and simultaneously meet German-speaking students interested in learning Catalan or Spanish and also help them practice.
Besides language exchange, categorized as a non-formal learning activity, these peer sessions also serve to activate participants' language awareness and increase their intercultural competence. A total of 22 couples will be set up starting virtual meetings this week.
Institut Ramon Llull promotes Catalan language and culture studies at universities abroad. In order to promote them, agreements are signed for the implementation or consolidation of Catalan studies endorsing universities, teaching staff and students through of various programs and lines of help.
