Each volume has 10 pieces, the first volume includes works published between 2004 and 2012, while the second has those from after 2012.
The authors featured in the anthology were selected by a committee of experts proposed by Institut del Teatre. Each playwright chose the text they considered most suitable for the publication. Thanks to collaboration from Institut Ramon Llull, the texts have been translated from Catalan to Spanish.
The works are presented in alphabetical order by author’s name. The first volume features the works Zoom, by Carles Batlle; Bardammour o morir sonriendo a la luna. Capítulo 2, by Albert Boronat; Litus, by Marta Buchaca; Las mejores ocasiones, by Jordi Casanovas; Consejo de familia, by Cristina Clemente; Smiley: Una historia de amor, by Guillem Clua; Niebla, by Lluïsa Cunillé; Tra(d)iciones, by Beth Escudé; La pols (Cenizas), by Llàtzer Garcia; and Tiempo real, by Albert Mestres.
The second features the pieces Cúbito, by Josep Maria Miró; Jugadores, by Pau Miró; Las meriendas de Ulises (Cuento teatral), by Enric Nolla Gual; El buen padre, by David Plana; Infamia, by Pere Riera; Copi y Ocaña, en el purgatorio, by Marc Rosich; Eva y Adela en las afueras, by Mercè Sarrias; Boys don’t cry, by Victoria Szpunberg; No hables con extraños, by Helena Tornero; and Feísima enfermedad y muy triste muerte de la reina Isabel I, by Joan Yago.
The event will feature directors of Institut Ramon Llull and Institut del Teatre, Iolanda Batallé and Magda Puyo; head of Cultural Services for Institut del Teatre, Carles Batlle; author of the prologue, Esteve Miralles; and playwright Josep Maria Miró, representing the authors in the anthology. Authors Beth Escudé, Llàtzer Garcia, Cristina Clemente, Mercè Sarrias, Helena Tornero, Marta Buchaca, David Plana, Albert Boronat, Joan Yago and Marc Rossich will also be present.
