Open Call for Three Grants for Catalan Literature

The Official Journal of the Government of Catalonia (DOGC) has published the announcement for the three grants Institut Ramon Llull offers for disseminating Catalan literature abroad. 




The call for the following lines of funding is open as of today:

 

Grants for undertaking activities to promote Catalan and Aranese literature abroad for 2018

This first call closes on 20 April 2018

Grants for publishing illustrated works of children's and young adult literature abroad for 2018

This first call closes on 20 April 2018

Grants for residencies for translators of Catalan literature for 2018

This single annual call closes on 15 May 2018

Applicants must consult the terms and conditions on the IRL website and undertake the procedure online within the specified time limits.

Two additional lines of funding for literature from the Institut Ramon Llull – the grants for the translation of literary works into other languages and the grants for writers to travel to undertake activities promoting Catalan and Aranese literature outside the Catalan linguistic domain – will be offered in the second quarter of 2018.
