The University of Tübingen brings the diatopic varieties of Catalan to German students

The University of Tübingen, which is a member of the university Catalan studies abroad network, has organised a congress entitled “Islands in islands, an approach to the diatopic varieties of Catalan”. It will be held on 12 December with the participation of the director of the IRL Language and Universities Department, Andreu Bosch, who will give a talk on Alghero Catalan. There will also be contributions from the Catalan Romance specialists Johannes Kabatek, Claus Pusch and Ingo Radatz. The activity is supported by the Institut Ramon Llull, which is committed to making Catalan language and culture known abroad and to cooperation with universities all over the world.
