The Fundació Ramon Llull has announced the second Ramon Llull Prize for Literary Translation

The Fundació Ramon Llull has announced the second edition of the Ramon Llull Prize for Literary Translation in recognition of the work of literary translators. The prize is worth €4,000 for the best literary translation from Catalan published in 2012.




Works of literature translated exclusively by one single translator from Catalan into any language, and published between 1st January and 31st December 2012, may compete for the prize. Candidatures may be submitted until 12th July 2013. 
The Ramon Llull Prize for Literary Translation will be awarded in Andorra in November of this year, along with two more Fundació Ramon Llull prizes for the purposes of acknowledging the work of people or institutions that have contributed to the projection of Catalan culture abroad.
