Anglo-Catalan Society Holds 64th Annual Congress at University of Bristol

The University of Bristol will host the Anglo-Catalan Society’s Annual Congress from 9th – 11th November. The programme of this 64th edition includes a great variety of topics, including forays into fields like literature, translation and architecture, with Catalan culture as the common denominator. LXII Anglo-Catalan Annual Conference

The LXII annual conference will be held at the University of Leeds from 11 to 13 November 2016.The programme covers a wide diversity of topics including history, literature, linguistics and sociology whose common denominator is the Catalan dimension. The Joan Gili Memorial Lecture this year is presented by literary critic and historian Enric Bou. Writer Teresa Solana, academic and critic Maria Delgado and poet Manuel Forcano will also take part in the conference.
