The composer Hèctor Parra will be presenting the first performance, at the 2014 Munich Biennial, of the Baroque opera ‘Das geopferte Leben’ (The sacrificed life) with a libretto by the French writer Marie N’Diaye. The work presents a version of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and will be having its first performance on 20 May, which means that it will be closing the Biennial.
