SummerStage Festival, a program of City Parks Foundation, and the Institut Ramon Llull partner for the first time ever to feature Catalan bands Mishima and Txarango and DJ sets by Headbirds in what promises to be an unforgettable Sunday afternoon of Catalan music at Central Park.

Sioux and Gypsy blood runs through Clara Sanabras’ veins. Born in France, raised in Barcelona, now a Londoner, her enigmatic voice and multi-instrumentalism feature in top Hollywood soundtracks such as The Hobbit, The Hunger Games, Snow White and The Huntsman. With her new album "El Vol Dispers", she returns to her roots with an elegy to exile. Expect a visionary, musically expansive voyage.

Between the Seas Festival is a cutting-edge, international platform showcasing Mediterranean arts and culture in New York City. This year the Festival will take place from July 21-27 at The Wild Project, and will feature Catalan playwright Esteve Soler, among others. Directed by Tamilla Woodard and Ana Margineanu, staged readings of Soler's Trilogy Against Progress/ Against Democracy/ Against Love will be presented on Sunday, July 27th and followed by a discussion with the playwright, directors and translator.

Àngels Aymar is an actress, director and playwright from Barcelona, who lives in Lyon, France. Her multidisciplinary project 100FEMMES, based on theater performance, social media and documentary film, was featured in the premiere International Edition of the Women in Theatre Magazine. The issue was presented on June 2, 2014 in New York.
