| Cinemaattic’s Catalan Film Festival returns to Scotland bigger than ever with ten days celebrating Catalan culture. The festival runs from 2-5 November in Glasgow and 13-18 November in Edinburgh. Scotland Catalan Film Festival is back with a new name – SCAT – and an extended programme of films where music, poetry and performance will also be part of this year’s edition.

On Wednesday, September 26, the Institute Ramon Llull’s Governing Board named writer and publisher Iolanda Batallé the new director of the Institute. Batallé takes the place of Manuel Forcano, who has occupied the position for the past two-and-a-half years.
