Four Catalan films at the BFI London Film Festival

The 2018 edition of the BFI London Film Festival will showcase four Catalan films this year with the support of Institut Ramon Llull. The Festival runs from Wednesday, 10 October until Sunday, 21 October 2018 and will be showcased at various cinemas across London, including the BFI Southbank, ICA Cinema, Ciné Lumière, Curzon Soho Cinema, and Vue Leicester Square.

Companyia de Circ eia's inTarsi UK tour: September and October dates

Catalan performing arts company Companyia de Circ "eia" will be premiering their show "inTarsi" in the UK throughout September and October 2018. "eia" will also be giving a workshop on 1st and 3rd of October at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk.

Miquel Villalba's Lunchtime piano recital

Catalan pianist Miquel Villalba will offer a lunctime piano recital at St. Bride's Church in London on 5 October at 1.15pm. The recital includes works by J.S. Bach, Goldberg Variations. Admission is free to all.

Catalan composer Toni Castells will premiere his new musical composition 'Hhumann X' on 20 October 2018 at the LSO St Luke's (Barbican). Hhumann X is an exploration of social isolation in an era of technological hyper-connectedness.

Artists selected for new Catalonian & Balearic Residency Programme

Dulce DucaCia. PakiPaya Collectivo Terzo Livello and Cia. Pau Palaus have been chosen by SeaChange Arts to take part in the residency program for artists and troupes from Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. With the support of Institut d'Estudis BaleàricsInstitut Ramon Llull and Trapezi, the Catalan circus festival, they will undertake a residency from October 2018 to June 2019.
