Catalan circus and theater companies will present their this year in Watch This Space,one of the main outdoor festivals in the United Kingdom organised by the National Theatre that takes part in London from 27 June to 31 August. This year's programme includes Catalan companies Sienta la Cabeza, Cia. Jordi L Vidal, Itinerània, Laitrum Teatre, Kamchàtka and The Wandering Orquestra.

Waterford will welcome Catalan artists once more at the Spraoi International Street Arts Festival from 1 to 3 August. David Moreno will present 'Floten Tecles', a performance that magically combines music, theatre, film, special effects and humour with a touch of poetry. Microguagua band will bring to the festival their Street Power Reggae, a unique music made of sun and energy, the ingredients of Barcelona.

In his latest opera extravaganza 'Life from Light', London based composer Toni Castells impressively integrates classical music and opera with downtempo electronica, pop and video art in order to explore what it means to be human in the 21st century. Two exclusive performances will take place on 7 and 8 August at Kings Place in Kings Cross as part of the Tête-à-Tête Festival, the world largest festival of new opera.

Internationally-renowned musician Jordi Savall will direct and play a selection of early music with Hespèrion XXI at the opening of the Edinburgh International Culture Summit on 10 August. The master of Viola de Gamba will also direct and perform with Hespèrion XXI, Le Concert des Nations and La Capella Reial de Catalunya the concert 'War and peace in Baroque Europe: From the Thirty Years War to the Peace of Utrecht' on 12 August as part of the Edinburgh International Festival.

Directed by Jordi Torrent, La redempció dels peixos (The Redemption of the Fish) is a reflection on family relations and the sense of one's life through the discovery of the past. After a great success at Cabridge Film Festival, its London Premier will be screened at the ICA cinema on 23 August followed with a Q&A with the director.

The Cambridge Film Festival, the UK's third longest-running film festival celebrates its 34th edition from 28 August to 7 September at the Arts Picturehouse and other venues in Cambridge. Building on a successful two years of celebrating the best of Catalan Cinema, the festival returns with the strand Camera Catalonia.

After the success of their previous show 'You and Me', Little Soldier Productions are back to stage with their new project ‘The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha’ produced in association with Jacksons Lane. The company will participate at Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 1 to 25 August at The Monkey House ZOO. Three actors, one guitarist, an artist and boundless ambition make this dramatisation of the celebrated novel Don Quixote de la Mancha a must-see.
