The Department of Culture’s stand will host 18 Catalan publishers from 12 to 14 March.

This year the festival will pay particular attention to female desire and the taboo’s that surround it. The Catalan Film Festival, created and produced by CinemaAttic with close support from Institute Ramon Llull and Screen Scotland, will feature the latest Catalan films, from award-winning features to the best short films, as well as in-depth Q&As with guest directors.

Fundació Victoria de los Ángeles launches the celebration of the Centennial of the famous Catalan soprano Victoria de los Ángeles with two important exhibitions in New York City, at the Metropolitan Opera House, and at the Instituto Cervantes in New York.

This scholarship is aimed at doctoral students and is endowed with €20,000.
