Castells (the Catalan word for "castles") are a Catalan cultural phenomenon which consists in building human towers. 

As part of the first UCL International Week 2018, the Catalan Society has teamed up with the Castellers of London for a unique demonstration followed by a workshop where you will be able to learn how to build a castell.

UCL Catalan Society aims to provide a platform for Catalan, Catalan-speaking and Catalan-curious students to share and discuss the Catalan culture. The society will hold many events throughout the academic year, including film screenings, talks, socials such as the Catalan dinner, and much more!
