Circo EIA, presenting InTarsi

A few smallish platforms, a trampoline, a teeterboard and four men…

Four acrobats watch each other, gauge, run into, carry, throw each other and sweep us along in their physical and metaphorical dance: meetings, exploits, mistakes, power games, seductions, manipulations, a mosaic made up of fragments of life, a glimpse into the kaleidoscope of human relationships.

A circus in constant movement: strong, poetic, funny and heart-warming; a show, which inspires real tenderness for the strange beast that is the human being.

Circ Pànic, presenting Mira’T

A giant set of scales stands in the centre of the stage…

MiraT plays with an exchange of perspectives, both introspective and open. From him to himself, from you to him and from him to you. Observing oneself, confronted with one’s own sense of loneliness, making the decision to embark on a journey of self discovery, and transcribing this onto the stage.

MiraT is an invitation to observe oneself without complacency or arrogance, but with humour and self-derision.  In constant pursuit of stability and balance; swinging, spinning and dancing.

Microguagua

A band that is the natural result of a mestizo city in the soul, as it is in Barcelona. Seven musicians from different countries, cultures and musical styles found in the alleys of the historic centre, give life to a fresh, vital band, full of positive energy, that’s  hard to classify.  They baptize their sound as street power reggae, but filtered by their own feelings closer to Black Hand, The Clash, Dub Inc., Seed, and The Fabulous Cadillacs.

Hotel Iocandi, presenting Esquerdes

What is in the empty space between two pieces that do not fit? A man and a woman meet in a place. He climbs. She runs. Just a simple movement… and the game can start.

Esquerdes is a show that combines static trapeze, acrobatic ladder and life music through three moving bodies, in a game between the desire and the escape.
