Purpose

Travel, accommodation and/or transport of equipment for the purpose of giving performances and/or tours outside Catalonia in the field of music, from 1st August to 31th December 2018, which contribute to the presence of the cultural creativity of Catalonia elsewhere, providing some monetary compensation is received (ticket/box office).

Artists are taken to mean both individual artists and musical ensembles.

Performances are taken to mean:

• A single concert, travel to which departs from and returns to Catalonia.
• Similar concerts at the same venue, travel to which departs from and returns to Catalonia.

Tours are taken to mean:

A series of consecutive performances by an artist in the musical sphere in different locations, departing from and returning to Catalonia.

Application submission

Only one application may be submitted per artist in each call for applications.

The minimum amount that can be applied for is:

• in the case of up to 2 people: 1,500.00 euros.
• in the case of 3 or more people: 2,500.00 euros.

The maximum eligible amount is 8,000.00 euros per artist in each call for applications.

The maximum amount that can be granted to each artist in a year in calls for applications by the Institut Ramon Llull under these heads is 10,000.00 euros.

Eligible Expenses

These are solely and exclusively those corresponding to accommodation, travel and/or transport of equipment which have not been borne by a third party.

In the case of a single concert or various similar concerts at the same venue, travel by the artist and the technical personnel necessary to stage the performance departing from and returning to Catalonia, transport of equipment and accommodation will be accepted as eligible expenses.

In the case of a tour, a single journey by the personnel, departing from and returning to Catalonia, transport of equipment and accommodation will be accepted as eligible expenses.

In the case of accommodation, the nights of the performances and, if appropriate, the night before the first concert may be counted as eligible expenses.
