Travel arrangements for artists sheduled to perform abroad
Grants awarded by the Institut Ramon Llull to cover travel expenses.
Travel, accommodation and/or transport of equipment for the purpose of giving performances and/or tours outside Catalonia in the field of the performing arts, from 1st January to 31st August 2017, which contribute to the presence of the cultural creativity of Catalonia elsewhere, providing some monetary compensation is received (ticket/box office).
A tour is taken to mean similar or consecutive performances given during a single trip by the artist.
These grants are available to self-employed individuals and legal entities that meet the requirements set out in the legal regulations of the open call.
One application must be submitted for each performance (whether it is a single performance or various similar performances or within the framework of a season) or for each tour carried out within the time limit stipulated in the call for applications.
Up to a maximum of 5 applications may be submitted per artist in each call for applications.
The amount applied for must be at least 1,500.00 euros.
The maximum eligible amount per application is 10,000.00 euros.
These are solely and exclusively those corresponding to travel, accommodation and/or transport of equipment which have not been borne by a third party.
In the case of accommodation, the nights of the performances and, if appropriate, the night before the first performance and accommodation for the artist en route may be counted as eligible expenses.
In the event that performances form part of a season, apart from accommodation and/or transport of equipment, only one return journey from the place of origin to the location of the performance for each member of the company can be counted as eligible expenses.

Legal entities must submit the application and take the other steps associated with the procedure for granting and justifying subsidies online, using the electronic office of the Institut Ramon Llull and the pertinent system of signatures.
Freelance individuals should preferably submit applications online, using the electronic office of the Institut Ramon Llull. They may also do so in person.

Non-resident foreign citizens submitting applications online must authenticate their identity by means of the identification system at the electronic office, with a user name and password. The Institut Ramon Llull undertakes to send the user name and password in a secure manner to interested parties after having verified the documentation accrediting their identity. Deadlines for submission
The period for applications is from the day after the publication date in the official journal of the government of Catalonia up to 27th February 2017, both inclusive.
