The line-up of this German street theatre festival, held in the historic Baroque gardens of Schloss Neuhaus, consists of more than 60 artists and companies, three of them Catalan:
The Circ Bover company, set up eleven years ago, is putting on Vincles (Links), a show produced to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Using the very simple element of bamboo canes, the company turns the space into a circus stage and mounts a performance filled with emotions, elegance and tremendous artistic and technical quality.
The Cia Pere Hosta is taking Open Door to Performance. In this show, the clown Pere Hoste emerges from a door that eventually becomes the main element of the piece, as well as a gateway for the imaginary – one full of surrealism, entertainment and eccentricities – that surrounds Open Door.
Visitors to the festival will also have the opportunity to see Somnis de Sorra (Dreams of Sand), by the Borja Ytuquepintas company. The artist Borja González illustrates the life of two people in drawings done in sand on glass, across which their childhood dreams, experiences and reflections pass.
