Marc Recha (L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, 1970) will be in Paris on 16th March to present his latest film Un dia perfecte per volar (A Perfect Day to Fly) for the second time there. After taking part in the Different! Festival last June, on this occasion he will do so in the second edition of Different Junior!, designed especially for children and young adults. He will be accompanied by his son, Roc Recha, the star of the film together with Sergi López.
With just three characters, the El Garraf massif as the backdrop, and the image of a boy who imagines that he is playing with a non-existent friend, Un dia perfecte per volar establishes some field lines that are very simple but, at the same time, very solid. With these margins, the film explores in-depth young children’s need to create imaginary friends, a perfect solution for substituting the absence of a loved one.
