The micro-stories will be published on the IRLats website as the participants send them, using the form. To enter the competition you must be a student of Catalan from outside Catalan-speaking areas and have Catalan as a non-native language. Each participant may submit one micro-story only, which must be original, unpublished, written in Catalan and be a maximum of 400 characters long. The subject matter is open.
The judges will choose a winner and a runner-up from among the micro-stories that get most votes on the network. The verdict will be made public on 9th June 2017, and the winner will be presented with free enrolment at the Catalan Language University Campus, taking place in July 2017. A bookmark will be published with the winning micro-story on it and the runner-up will receive a set of books.
